Select Training Solutions was founded in 2002 in Krakow with the aim of providing effective bespoke language training to the international business community in Krakow.

Now, ten years later, we have developed and evolved together with the local multinational business environment to provide innovative, relevant, and above all effective language training solutions to meet the dynamic needs of Krakow’s International Business Environment.

Our unique position as business partners has allowed us to gain crucial insight into the day-to-day functioning of a modern multinational organisation. This insight has resulted in Select expanding its activities in order to answer the industry’s growing need for training in business skills which allow employees to operate more effectively in their daily client-facing tasks.

Over the last ten years, Select has cooperated with some of the largest multinational businesses in Krakow, improving and enhancing performance and customer experience for projects which are delivered throughout the world. Written Business Correspondence

With the importance of e-mail in business, there are obvious advantages to ensuring e-mail is written effectively. This training shows participants how to ensure their e-mail receives the desired attention and generates the proper response and within the relevant timeframe. The course aims at making e-mail an effective support tool rather than just a means of communication.

 

LETS-Language Enhancement for Telephone Speaking

A course designed for new joiners with voice roles in international projects. This training shows participants how to deal with clients and partners on the phone, and covers topics such as Discussing Problems, Dealing with Angry Callers, Managing the Call Successfully, The Basics of NLP, and Effective Summarising. With focus placed on practicing calls based on scenarios taken from the workplace, this course aims to reduce call times while increasing end-user satisfaction.

 

Effective Business Communication

A group of trainings which will improve communication with peers and superiors alike, this course covers how to communicate effectively through e-mail, telephone, in meetings or in presentations. Participants will learn how to manage their communication, which channel to choose, and how to ensure the message is both received and acted upon.

 

Effective Client Management

This training focuses on building and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients –not always easy in remote business models. Participants work on learning and managing stakeholders’ priorities, delivering bad news, conflict resolution and building rapport.

 

New Leaders

This solution has been designed to support team leaders who feel that they would like to have more support in their positions, without too much disruption in the team’s workflow, through innovative on-site coaching and remote support. Participants in this course are provided with a coach, with whom they discuss and define key skills which they feel they would like to improve. Coaching sessions take place at Select’s premises, on-site, in a meeting room, or over teleconference, depending on the client’s choice.

Incentive Training Travel

Select Training Solutions provides a unique solution to the issues of Reward & Recognition and Skills Development. This project presents the opportunity to show senior team members and junior team leaders that their development is of importance, while at the same time communicating to them that their input is appreciated.

The participants spend one week in the centre of Dublin, during which time they participate in 20 hours of training and workshops aimed at improving their performance in the workplace, enhancing their management of peers and subordinates, and communication with their supervisors.

While afternoons are spent exploring Dublin’s city centre, morning sessions are given to examining how people communicate, how great an influence communication style can have on the outcome of an issue, and how best to use and manage communication methods to ensure the best result, while maintaining a healthy business relationship.
